Honor Unveils New Number Series: Honor 200 and 200 Pro
Honor is making waves in the smartphone market with the launch of its latest devices, the Honor 200 and 200 Pro. These feature-packed phones boast impressive specs and innovative features, making them strong contenders in the flagship category.
Supercharged Performance and Stunning Displays
Both the Honor 200 and 200 Pro flaunt a sleek design with a large 6.7-inch OLED display offering a smooth 120Hz refresh rate for an exceptional viewing experience. Under the hood, the Pro variant takes the lead with the powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, while the Honor 200 features the capable Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip.
Flagship-Level Cameras with Innovative Features
The camera department is where these phones truly shine. The Honor 200 Pro boasts a custom H9000 sensor, a 50MP 1/1.3″ shooter based on the Omnivision OV50H, similar to the one found on the Honor Magic6 Pro. This sensor delivers stunning photos with its large 1.2µm pixels, f/1.9 aperture, and optical image stabilization (OIS). The Honor 200 utilizes a slightly smaller but still impressive 1/1.56” IMX906 main sensor with f/1.95 aperture and OIS.
Both phones take telephoto capabilities to the next level with a 50MP IMX856 sensor offering 2.5x optical zoom, f/2.4 aperture, and OIS. Honor has also partnered with the renowned French photography studio Harcourt to introduce a new “Harcourt portrait mode.” This AI-powered mode simulates professional studio lighting for stunning portrait shots, trained on a vast library of Harcourt portraits to create an authentic studio-like experience.
The rear camera system is completed by a versatile 12MP ultrawide lens with autofocus and a dedicated 2.5cm macro mode. On the front, both phones boast a high-resolution 50MP camera for capturing clear and detailed selfies.
MagicOS 8.0 and Global Launch
The smartphones run on the latest MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14, ensuring a smooth and user-friendly experience. The phones will be available for purchase in China starting May 31st. For international markets, Honor will be holding a global launch event on June 12th in Paris, where details on pricing and availability will be revealed.
