Motorola Razr 50 Ultra has recently made an appearance on TENAA, just days after its vanilla sibling, the Razr 50, was certified by the Chinese regulator. This new clamshell smartphone is set to be a premium device both inside and out, featuring advanced specifications and a sleek design.
The Razr 50 Ultra is expected to house a 3 GHz CPU, likely part of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, promising robust performance. It boasts a 6.9” OLED inner display with a 1080p resolution and up to a 120 Hz refresh rate, ensuring vibrant visuals and smooth scrolling. The cover screen has also seen an upgrade, growing to a 4” panel that elegantly wraps around the camera lenses and LED flash.
Camera enthusiasts will be pleased with the dual 50 MP shooters on the back, expected to include a main and a portrait camera with 2x optical zoom. Additionally, there’s a 32 MP front camera embedded in a punch hole on the inner screen, perfect for high-quality selfies and video calls.
The battery capacity of the Razr 50 Ultra is listed at 4,000 mAh, providing ample power for extended use. The fingerprint scanner remains conveniently positioned on the side of the device. Motorola has filed the phone with multiple RAM options—8 GB, 12 GB, 16 GB, and 18 GB—and storage variants of 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB. The exact memory combinations and pricing, particularly for the top-tier 18 GB RAM + 1 TB storage version, will be revealed at the official launch.
