ZTE has quietly launched the ZTE Blade A75 5G, an affordable 5G smartphone that serves as a lower-cost variant of the earlier-released nubia Focus. The Blade A75 retains many of the features that made its predecessor stand out, but with a few notable changes, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious users.
One of the key differences is the 50MP main camera, replacing the higher-resolution 108MP sensor found on the nubia Focus. This camera is still paired with a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots. On the front, users will appreciate the upgraded 8MP selfie camera, an improvement over the Focus’s 5MP shooter.
The phone features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, though it only supports HD+ resolution. The design remains stylish with a glass back available in two color options: Mint Green and Diamond Black. The rear camera island is aesthetically appealing, drawing inspiration from the more premium nubia Z60S Pro.
Powered by the Unisoc T760 chipset, the ZTE Blade A75 offers solid performance with its 6nm architecture, featuring four Cortex-A76 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores. The phone also comes with 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage and 4GB of RAM, with an additional 4GB of virtual RAM for smoother multitasking.
The Blade A75 is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, though it charges at a slower 18W rate compared to its predecessor. The phone runs on Android 13 out of the box, and while ZTE hasn’t specified the number of future updates, users can expect a smooth experience on the latest software.
The ZTE Blade A75 5G has been spotted in stores in regions like the Philippines and Bulgaria. It is priced at PHP 5,450 in the Philippines (roughly $100/€90/₹8,150), while in Bulgaria, it comes with a higher price tag of BGN 340 (approximately $195/€175/₹16,200), which includes a free pair of TWS earbuds.
By launching the ZTE Blade A75 5G, ZTE has provided an affordable 5G option with respectable features, especially for those seeking an upgrade in camera performance without breaking the bank.
